Axxept launches Nordic PR structure

Axxept joins communications consultancies in Sweden and Denmark in launching an integrated Nordic PR offering. The new alliance will have close to 100 communications professionals in the Nordic region and is a part of Grayling, which is one of the world’s largest communications consultancies.

“Over recent years Nordic business has become increasingly integrated. A growing number of Norwegian and international companies define the Nordic region as one market. Nevertheless, the cultural differences between the Nordic countries are significant. This creates opportunities for a PR consultancy which is able to think Nordic, establish an integrated work style across the region, while also being able to facilitate effective communications in each country,” said Axxept’s Chairman Per Arne Totland.

Norway’s Axxept and Denmark’s PrimeTime Kommuniation are locally owned agencies now seeking together under the Grayling umbrella. The Swedish participant in the new Nordic offering is Grayling Sweden, an agency which has been part of the international Grayling organization for several years. A Finnish agency will join the Nordic Grayling offering shortly.

“Norwegian companies, as well as our international clients, are increasingly seeking Nordic solutions. The introduction of a Nordic structure is an improved offering to our clients, while also representing a new and different communications approach to the Nordic business region,” Per Arne Totland said.

The Grayling alliance in the Nordic region will focus on corporate communications, investor relations, public affairs and marketing PR.

Grayling is one of the world’s largest PR organizations with close to 1,000 communications professionals at 70 offices worldwide. The group’s main geographical area is Europe, with more than 600 professionals at 50 offices. The PR group is well placed in most European capitals as well as the political and financial centers of Europe. Grayling is owned by UK based Huntsworth plc and is a sister company of Citigate, Europe’s leading financial communications consultancy. Axxept has for several years been the Norwegian representative also of Citigate.
